Features
  • Reduced Air Leakage: The SleepWeaver is made of cloth and has no rigid parts that come into contact with the skin. It inflates to form a balloon of air that pushes gently against the patient's face to form a seal. Because the cloth is flexible and follows the exact shape of each individual patient's face, air leakage is reduced.
  • Reduced Pressure from Headgear: Very little tension is required in the headgear to achieve a good seal, which is formed by the air pressure inside the mask instead. Because the need to continually tighten the mask to achieve a good seal is eliminated, SleepWeaver users no longer experience pressure sores on the bridge of the nose or other parts of the face.
  • More Sleep Positions: SleepWeaver allows patient to sleep on their back, side, or stomach without rigid buckles, clips or faceplates digging into their skin. Because the mask is light and soft, it stays positioned all night even as the patient changes sleep positions. Users report waking up in the middle of the night and wondering if it is still on their face, only to find it gently and quietly in place.
  • No More Skin Irritation: The cloth material is very smooth and breathable. So while it forms a very good seal, it does not feel sticky or tacky on the skin and it does not create allergic reactions. There is nothing that goes inside of the nose to irritate or dry out the mucosal tissues inside the nose. The mask contains no latex or silicone.
  • Less Noise: CPAP mask noise comes from three sources: the exhalation valve, leaks and turbulence inside the mask. The SleepWeaver has a series of small exhalation holes that eliminate air "whooshing" or "whistling" sound. The mask fits with very few leaks, reducing the sudden "farting" noises. And the mask is designed so that the air turbulence inside the mask is minimized, reducing the last source of mask noise.

Sleepweaver cloth nasal mask October 12, 2008
Reviewer: Catherine Vreeland from Honolulu, HI United States
This was an expensive disappointment. The flaps connecting to the headgear shredded almost immediately and I never could get a proper seal, even after many many attempts. Always strong drafts coming out of the sides of the mask. So much money without any use at all! I had hoped for so much from this mask. I am so disappointed.

This mask saved my life.  I could not sleep with those clunky hard masks.

Kudos for Kathy in customer service August 7, 2008
Reviewer: Madeleine Gould from Lakewood, CO United States
The mask was the most flexible one I've ever tried. The design is excellent and its so easy to clean. I was able to move freely in it and could turn from side to side without any problem. My biggest kudos is for Kathy in customer service. I honestly have never had a person take such time and effort to make sure I had done everything possible to make the mask work. Her personal attention was phenomenal. She's an asset to the company in so many ways. The phone calls and follow up e-mails were handled both professionally and with just the right amount of warmth to make me feel like she really cared about my success. Thanks so much for all of your help!!

Took no time to get used to January 23, 2008
Reviewer: Mike Kaplan from Clearwater, FL United States
When I got my first mask from a medical supply provider I was advised to be patient, that it would take time to get comfortable with it. Unfortunately, none of their masks I tried, and I tried at least 4 diffrent ones, got any more comfortable from the first day I tried them. After nearly 2 months and 4 masks I was very frustrated and very close to throwing in the towel.

I decided to search the internet to see if there were any other masks that could work for me. Fortunately I came across the Sleep Weaver. Right away I knew I had to try it as it was designed by someone who had also suffered with conventional masks himself.

The very first day I used the mask I was sold. It was light, comfortable and took no time to 'get used to it'. I've been using it exclusively now for about 4 months and love it.

Another plus, since it is cloth and not hard plastic, it doesn't emit toxic plastic odors like the other masks I tried. That's a big adavntage in itself since I am breathing through a mask 7 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The customer service is first class and very caring. They are committed to having the best product out there and it shows.
